Article 1 (General Provisions)

1.1 Purpose of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the conditions of use for the mobile application "SnapStudy+" ("App") provided by TKZO ("we," "us," or "our").

1.2 Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1.3 Definitions

In these Terms, the following terms have the following meanings:

Content	Text, images, and other data displayed within the App
User Content	Data entered or captured by the User in the App
Subscription	Paid plans for the App
AI Analysis	Feature that extracts important words from images

Article 2 (Service Description)

2.1 Services Provided

The App provides the following services:

Image Scanning: Import images from camera or photo library
Word Extraction: Extract study words from text in images
AI Analysis: Automatic extraction of important words using AI (with usage limits)
Mask Learning: Mask extracted words for memorization practice
Review Management: Review schedule management based on the forgetting curve
Progress Tracking: Record correct/incorrect answers, display mastery levels

2.2 Supported Environment

Supported OS: iOS 15.0 or later
Supported Devices: iPhone, iPad
Required Connection: Internet connection required for AI analysis and billing features

2.3 Service Changes

We may add, modify, or remove features of the App without prior notice.

Article 3 (User Accounts)

3.1 Anonymous Accounts

The App uses an anonymous account system. No email address or password registration is required.

3.2 Account Management

Accounts are linked to your device
Deleting the App will permanently delete your account information and all learning data stored on the device
Subscription purchase information can be restored as it is linked to your Apple ID, but learning data cannot be recovered

3.3 Multi-Device Usage

Due to the nature of anonymous accounts, the same account cannot be shared across multiple devices. A separate account is created for each device.

Article 4 (Eligibility)

4.1 Age Restrictions

The App is intended for users 13 years of age or older. Users under 13 may only use the App under parental supervision.

4.2 Usage Requirements

To use the App, you must:

Agree to these Terms
Use a compatible device and OS
Grant necessary permissions (camera, etc.)

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

Users may not engage in the following activities when using the App:

5.1 Technical Prohibitions

Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
Circumventing or disabling security features of the App
Unauthorized access to the App's servers
Operating the App using automated tools or bots
Modifying the App or creating derivative works

5.2 Content Prohibitions

Capturing or using content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
Capturing or storing illegal content
Capturing or storing obscene, violent, or offensive content

5.3 Other Prohibitions

Using the App for commercial purposes (beyond personal learning)
Causing harm to third parties using the App
Violating laws or public order and morals
Interfering with our service operations

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

6.1 Rights to the App

All intellectual property rights in the App (including software, design, logos, documentation, etc.) belong to us or our licensors.

6.2 Rights to User Content

Intellectual property rights in images captured and data entered by Users belong to the Users. However, Users grant us a license to use such content to the extent necessary to provide the App's features.

6.3 Copyright of Captured Content

When capturing textbooks, reference books, or other publications, the copyright of such materials belongs to the original authors. Use within the App is permitted only within the scope of private use recognized by copyright law.

Important: Sharing captured content with third parties or posting it on social media may constitute copyright infringement.

Article 7 (Billing and Subscriptions)

7.1 Pricing Structure

Plan	Description
Free Plan	AI Analysis 100 times (lifetime limit), all basic features available
Monthly Premium	Unlimited AI Analysis
Yearly Premium	Unlimited AI Analysis

Please check the App Store page for specific prices.

7.2 Payment Method

Subscription fees are charged to the payment method registered with your Apple ID
Billing is processed through Apple's App Store

7.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Renewal fees are charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period

7.4 Cancellation Method

To cancel your subscription:

Open "Settings" on your iPhone/iPad
Tap your name at the top
Tap "Subscriptions"
Select "SnapStudy+"
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

7.5 Refund Policy

Refunds are processed in accordance with Apple's refund policy
Please submit refund requests directly to Apple

7.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. Price changes will apply from the next renewal.

7.7 Recovery Through Reward Ads

Free plan users can recover AI analysis usage by watching reward ads
Each viewing recovers 5 uses
The maximum limit (100 uses) remains unchanged

Article 8 (Advertising)

8.1 Ad Display

The App displays advertisements.

8.2 Types of Ads

Interstitial Ads: May be displayed at the end of learning sessions
Reward Ads: Users can optionally watch to recover AI analysis usage

8.3 Disclaimer Regarding Ads

Ad content is provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for its content
We are not responsible for any damages resulting from clicking on ads

8.4 Premium Plans and Ads

With a Premium Plan (monthly/yearly), no ads are displayed.

Article 9 (Disclaimers)

9.1 No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS." We do not warrant:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Error-free or uninterrupted operation
Operation on all devices

9.2 AI Analysis Accuracy

The accuracy of word extraction by the AI analysis feature is not guaranteed. Results may contain errors.

9.3 Learning Effectiveness

The effectiveness of learning using the App is not guaranteed. Learning outcomes depend on the User's study methods and effort.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages (including direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages) arising from the use or inability to use the App.

If we are found liable, compensation shall be limited to the amount paid by the User to us in the preceding 12 months.

9.5 Third-Party Services

The App uses services provided by third parties. We are not responsible for damages caused by failures, changes, or termination of these services.

Article 10 (Service Interruption and Termination)

10.1 Service Interruption

We may interrupt the service without notice in the following cases:

System maintenance or inspection
Natural disasters, accidents, or other emergencies
Third-party service failures

10.2 Service Termination

We may terminate the App's service with 30 days' notice.

10.3 Response Upon Termination

Upon service termination:

Valid subscriptions may be used until the termination date
No renewal fees will be charged after termination
Users are responsible for managing data stored on their devices

Article 11 (User Content)

11.1 Data Storage

Images captured and learning data created by Users are stored only on the device. They are not stored on our servers (except for temporary processing during AI analysis).

11.2 Backup

We do not provide backup services for User Content. Users are responsible for data preservation.

11.3 Copyright Infringement Liability

Users are solely responsible for any copyright infringement related to content they capture.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

12.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Article 13 (Changes to Terms)

13.1 Authority to Change

We may change these Terms as necessary.

13.2 About Changes

These Terms may be changed without prior notice due to legal changes or service updates. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We recommend checking this page periodically.

13.3 Consent Through Continued Use

By continuing to use the App after changes are made, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.

13.4 If You Do Not Agree

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please discontinue use of the App. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before discontinuing use.

Article 14 (Severability)

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
